"The Code of Canon Law mandates a Finance Council in each parish (Canon 537). Since 1986, Diocesan Policy has required all parishes in the Diocese of Cleveland to have Finance Advisory Boards." Parish Finance Council Policy, Diocese of Cleveland (May 9, 1991)

Consistent with this law and policy, Ascension Parish Finance Council is a consultative body which meets monthly to make recommendations to our Pastor, Fr. Joseph Fortuna.
